Due to the ongoing threat and uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19/Coronavirus situation in Oklahoma, EMSA has suspended all educational demonstrations, tours, and community event appearances effective immediately until further notice.
For more information, see this post.
Educational Demo Process
Whether it is a school, corporate health fair, or community festival, EMSA is able to provide timely and helpful health education for your event. We can provide ambulance demonstrations, blood pressure screenings, or seasonal safety tips, depending on the size and needs of your attendees.
Educational demonstrations are FREE and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. During high volume periods, we may ask for an alternate date for your request.
If you have any questions, or if you have not heard from EMSA regarding your request within 10 business days, you can email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 918-596-3100 (in Tulsa) or 405-297-7100 (in Oklahoma City) and ask to speak with Special Events Scheduling.
You will receive a confirmation email at the email address provided below within 10 business days. We are NOT booked to attend your event until you receive confirmation back from EMSA. Also, please note that for fairs, festivals, and come-and-go community events, EMSA medics may arrive late or leave early so they can appear at other community events on our schedule. Thank you for understanding.
Note: EMSA educational demonstrations cannot use their ambulance to transport patients. If you need this service, please visit our medical standby page to learn about our medical standby options.
EMSA Reservation Policies
EMSA strongly recommends booking your medical standby or educational demonstration unit at least four weeks in advance of your event. EMSA reserves the right to decline a request based on staffing, other reservations, and short notice.
It is important to understand that EMSA and the requesting party must complete the contracting process before your event will be confirmed.
