EMSA Chief Revenue Officer elected to National Board of Directors

Angela Lehman, EMSA's CRO, was elected to the American Ambulance Association's board of directors during the National Conference in Las Vegas this week. Angela will represent Region 4 which includes Oklahoma, Kansas, Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, Iowa, Minnesota, Mississippi, the Dakotas, and Nebraska. She was selected for the position by her peers from these states.

At EMSA, Angela is responsible for leadership, administration, compliance and financial oversight for all of EMSA’s revenue cycle operations. She has worked at EMSA for seven years. During that time has served on numerous local and national committees that have provided opportunities to work closely with the national Centers for Medicaid and Medicare Services.

Angela will serve on the AAA national board until 2018. Although it is her first time to serve on the national board, she has been active in AAA since beginning at EMSA and she has been instrumental in federal and local reimbursement issues and advocacy. She has served on committees and also speaks nationally on behalf of AAA and EMSA regarding reimbursement and compliance processes and legislation. She has co-chaired the Medicare Regulatory Committee for four years; she is also a member of the Professional Standards Committee. In the past she has been a member of the Government Affairs, Education, and Payment Reform Committees.
