John Graham, NRP
Chief of Operations
John Graham is EMSA’s Chief of Operations and has worked in EMS for more than 26 years- 25 of those being at EMSA. In that quarter century, John has held many different titles and worked in almost every corner of EMSA. Before becoming Chief of Staff, John was the Operations Manager for EMSA’s contractor in the Oklahoma City area. John was named EMSA Chief of Staff in 2018. As Chief of Staff he worked closely with the CEO and oversees many aspects of the day-to-day functions of our EMS system while also looking to implement efficiencies and handle any hurdles that may arise. In 2020, EMSA named John Chief of Operations when the Authority assumed operational control of the EMSA system. Beyond EMSA, John has also worked as a Flight Paramedic and in rural EMS systems.
John holds a bachelor’s degree in Emergency Responder Administration from Oklahoma State University – Oklahoma City. When he is not at work, John enjoys spending time with family and friends. John and his wife have one daughter who was recently married. John also loves sports, especially college football, and you can find him cheering for the OU Sooners every weekend in the fall.
