What Do You Really Know About Camping?

So this is the year you’ve decided to vacation with your family in the great outdoors. But what do you really know about camping?

If your only camping experience was as a child with your family or weekends at Boy/Girl Scout camp, those fond memories may be a colored a bit by time. If others handled most of the work or the camp was set up before you arrived, you may not know some of the necessary details of camping.

Camping is a lot of work, especially for parents. Setting up camp, loading and unloading the vehicle, preparing food, keeping the area tidy, making sure the children are safe and entertained, experiencing sometimes unpleasant communal bathing and bathroom facilities – all these add to the stress of a family camping trip.

Make sure this is an adventure you are ready to undertake.
